Hi To All:
It has been a rollercoaster ride these past 13 days. We had pure joy with the outcome of surgery to absolute fear with a fever, infection and her pain. Today we had our first small outing to Scripps Clinic RB for her x-rays. Thank you so much to Jackie, Drew, Bill and Ray for all your help to keep her exam pain free.

Thank you for all the wonderful dinners, gifts, cards, calls, texts and the most important PRAYERS.. The golf tournement has been changed to the 11th of August and all recipes are due now >> full...

Surgery was a success. She is pain-free and sleeping. As parents it has been a day of pure joy, something we never thought we would have again. Her doctors were amazed at how smooth it all went with no problems.
Yaya is smiling, talking and happy to be Bionic Lexie now.. Thank you for all the prayers, calls and texts... She is cancer free!!!!.. XXX & OOO's to all......

It is moments of excitment to have this awful cancer out of her and gut wretching fear. And only these tears can fall when she is asleep. How do we do this as parents? Hi everyone! Thank you for all the support and love. I have had a rough couple of days but at least I get to hopefully come home. I had my second blood transfusion yesterday 5/21 and thank you again for everyone who donated at my bloodrive. It makes me feel better to know where the blood  came from. My counts are going up and hopefully I can have visitors soon. My counts were really low my immune system was down to 0 when normal people have around 6,000. That why it is so important that I stay in a isolated place and I can have no visitors any little germ that might not

Hi guys it me Yaya.  I just wanted to give everyone an update and thank you for all the support.  The cards, posters, gifts, food, texts, going to the blood drive and BBQ fundraiser means a lot to me.  It makes this journey a little easier.  Tomorrow I start my fourth round of chemo and its the hardest one yet.  But luckily, my tumor has shrunk and on a postive note, my surgery is scheduled for June 12th.  I miss going to school, playing softball, and hanging out with all of you.  I will blog again when I can; chemo is hard.  >> full...
