Osteosarcoma survivors, Vince, Alexis and Ty(from Idaho) . All were diagnosed in 2008 and we had a first time meeting but the crazy Moms were all long time cyber-BFF's.... It was a great night and Ty choose amputation, so he was a wealth of info for Alexis... Amazing kids with beautiful smiles, who would of thought the battle they fight.... September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.. Less than 3% goes to research for these kids.... .. Why???????

Sorry for the delay in posts. Our lives are always taking turns and twist's. Yaya is now 17, back in school and getting stellar grades. She has pain in her leg from being on it all day, but shes says the pain if worth it. She got her driver permit late Oct., so she is driving all over town. I am chaparoning a field trip to Knott's Berry Farm on the 6th, it is a needed time for both of us. It is scan time on the 9th and a Dr visit/blood work on the 11th. So please keep her in your prayers. She is now a 11mos survivor and we want NED( no evidence of disease) living in our house forever.
Thank you for all the calls of concern when Maris was in the hosp. in Oct. She is doing good and is ready for surgery on the 10th ... >> full...
